About

My name is Ceri Roberts, I’m an educational psychologist based in the South West of England. I bring over 30 years of experience as a psychologist, counsellor, and teacher to my work with children and young people. My career began in London, and I have since worked with families and schools across the UK and around the world.

I work closely with children, young people, parents, teachers, and support staff through consultations, assessments, intervention planning and monitoring, early support, and professional training. My approach is collaborative, practical, and tailored to each child’s individual needs.

The focus of my work is to help children and young people build on their strengths and receive support in areas where they need it most. This includes not only the fundamental skills of education, reading, writing, and arithmetic, but also crucial areas of self-regulation and emotional and social development. I use the concept of the emotional and social “3 Rs”, Recognise, Regulate, Respond/Relate, to guide children in understanding their emotions, managing challenges, and developing healthy relationships.

Through my work, I aim to create supportive, empowering strategies that help children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
